Kitinka House

The clients had a very clear brief in mind: a house for the family that will be used only for skiing, probably for one month every year; the will to be completely independent from the neighbours; keep the pitched roof. The project satisfies these requests and instead of raising a wall to close the common space, part of the house is creating an intimate outdoor space. The small detached wing is a filter between the house and the outside, a welcome space with lots of storage to fit all the equipment for winter sports. The house develops on two levels with a double height living room as termination of the longitudinal kitchen area. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and storage space. Both levels have a toilet with shower.

The basement has been adapted to host a cellar for the clients’ wine collection.
